D.Srinivasa Rao (86), Senior BJP leader and renowned Pharmacist has demised this month on 06 Feb 2021. The 86-year-old leader was suffering from age-related ailments and had been admitted to a hospital in Vijayawada, according to news agency AP. He served in surging role for BJP’s since 1980s. Srinivasa Rao has perceived to have good relations with senior leader LK Advani, Venkaiah Naidu and Kishan Reddy, they believed to have played a key role in firming up the BJP. Central Ministers Jai Shankar and Sunil Deodhar visited to residence in Vijayawada and paid tributes on the day of demise. Vice president Venkaiah Naidu paid tribute to the departed leader and wrote a letter that he was ‘deeply anguished’ by the death of the compassionate and hardworking leader.
In his leadership as Pharmacist – Real Chemists, Star medical stores, The swastik Pharmaceuticals Vijayawada; he ensured to distribute medicines to all the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana actively with more than 100ppl staff in 1990s.
