12th INDIAN SEED CONGRESS 2024

National Seed Association of India (NSAI) is the apex body, representing Indian seed industry. It is playing a leadership role by engaging with the National/States governments and regulatory agencies for highlighting the issues of seed sector and working towards the economic development by providing an enabling and favorable policy environment for the growth of the Indian seed industry.
Indian Seed Congress (ISC) is a NSAI’s annual mega and flag ship event. It is emerged as a much-awaited event to project the latest trends and views of the seed sector, voice their concerns, deliberate on the new technological advancements in crop improvement and provides opportunities to the industry to showcase new products, services, and network for business development. ISC also provides a platform for the seed industry to interact closely with technology developers, sector development officials and policy makers. ISC attracts participation by representatives of all major stakeholders including industry (seed & allied), policy makers, developmental agencies, scientific community, and farmers’ organizations from India and abroad.
NSAI is pleased to invite you to the Indian Seed Congress 2024, the 12th edition of the annual Global Seed Industry event which will be organized in Pune, Maharashtra on 28th February-1 March, 2024. The theme for the upcoming event is “Seeds for Sustainable Agriculture”.
The seed industry has now become more technology driven and developing new improved varieties through strong investment in R&D for a more sustainable future, providing solutions for the entire seed value chain. Sustainable agriculture through seeds will support the expansion of profitable and Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and ultimately will improve profitability and economic condition of farmer. In view of this the theme of the 12th edition of the Indian Seed Congress is “Seeds for Sustainable Agriculture”
