Ajeet Seeds Pvt. Ltd unleashes the Vegetable Field Visit Program at R&D Aurangabad

A four day vegetable field visit program was conducted from 26th Nov to 30th Nov 2021 by Ajeet Seeds Pvt Ltd. in Imampur village (Taluka- Paithan) of Aurangabad district. Around 2500, progressive farmers, nursery owners, retailers and distributors from Maharashtra and north India had gathered the R&D campus of the company. A live product demonstration was raised at this farm by the R&D team which covered the entire spectrum of vegetable products. The keen audience appreciated the exhibits and shared their valuable feedback. A team of breeders talked about special features of each of the products displayed there. The main attraction was their newly released tomato hybrid “Champion”. Its long shelf life, good disease tolerance, attractive fruits and good fruit weight satisfies the farmer’s expectations. The hybrid also received excellent popularity in shortest span of its market introduction. In a popular series of Okra hybrids; a new product “Royal“was recently launched which is perfectly suitable for export market. Live demonstration of hybrids and varieties of crops like Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Knol Khol , Beet, Radish, Coriander, French Beans, Dolichos Beans, Pole Beans, Yard Long Beans, Cow Pea, Onion, Hot Pepper, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Marigold, Okra, Egg Plant, Tomato, Cucumber, Peas, Bitter gourd, Bottle Gourd, Sponge Gourd, Ridge Gourd etc was held.
Tissue culture plants of Banana and Pomegranate were also displayed. The company made a humble debut on May 13, 1986 by bringing premium quality seeds of Cotton, Pearl millet, Wheat and Sorghum to the market. Now, for the last 35 years it encompasses the complete spectrum of vegetable, corn, rice, oilseeds and pulses. Even though the company bagged many awards like DSIR award for scientific research, Business today Award for best growing SME and India Bio Award for biotech award, a happy farmer is the biggest award is their company philosophy. The program was conducted under the guidance of vegetable GM – Mr. Mahesh Yadav, Vice President- Mr. Ram Jangeed and Hon. Managing director- Mr. Sameer Mulay.
