Pescafresh Expands Product Portfolio, Launches Meat-Based Spreads Range

India’s first D2C Seafood and Meat brand, Pescafresh has announced its new range of delectable and unique spreads. The wide range of spreads – SaSH22 – are ‘Freshly’ and ‘Naturally’ made with the brand’s 100 percent fresh meat.
Pescafresh is all set to revolutionize this category curated by in-house chefs. The new segment was developed after six months of R&D, a stringent selection process, and hand-picked through blind tasting by specially selected focus groups.
The uniquely flavored meat spreads include – Butter Garlic Lobster Spread, Chilly Garlic Prawns Spreads, Prawns Cocktail Spreads, Citrus Salmon Spread, Chicken Salad Spread, Chicken Thecha Spread, Chicken Shwarma Spread, Herby Chunky Chicken Spread, and Deviled Egg Salad Spread, among others.
The USP of Pescafresh meat spreads is the presence of generous amounts of meat chunks. Not only are they a natural source of protein but also flavors that have never been done before. All the variants are free of artificial flavors and colors. The company has constantly strived towards its brand promise to offer only products that are 100 percent fresh to its customers, right at their doorsteps.

The growth in the ready-to-cook (RTC) and ready-to-eat (RTE) segment has been severely constrained due to lack of quality ingredients. This space found itself more as an effort to reduce wastage that comes from using substandard ingredients. This is what Pescafresh wants to change. Products can be fresh and still have the highest quality in the RTC and RTE segment. This category should no longer be treated as only a convenience segment, but must be equally fresh, clean, and pure.”
Pescafresh ensures that SaSH22 products are produced within the finest quality, variety, safety, and hygiene parameters. The range for these delicious spreads starts from Rs.199. The company is planning to come up with an additional 100 products by the end of this fiscal year.
Pescafresh products, that are currently present in Mumbai, will be available in Pune from May. The brand will also soon begin its operations in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. Sangram Sawant founded Pescafresh in 2004 with the farm-to-fork business strategy. The brand controls the entire back-end supply chain, including strict cold chain management, procurement, processing, and storage, to ensure that the product’s quality and freshness are maintained from the beginning to the conclusion.
