SeedWorks Climate Smart Agriculture Project SRISHTEe is launched at Dhamtari Chattishgarh

As a member of Global Alliance for Climate smart Agriculture the climate smart agriculture project SRISHTEe was officially launched by MD& CEO Dr Venkat Ram Vasantavada.  As part of this project “We’ll introduce climate smart agriculture practices that enhance productivity and resilience for rice farming,” “The objective is to contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions though optimum resource utilization- “Smart farms that are resource use efficient “and to improve rice farmers living conditions in SeedWorks value chain, With emphasis on women and youth empowerment.” The ceremony was graced by all The Leadership at SeedWorks, Supply Chain team, farmers, and other stakeholders.
During the pilot stage, the project will offer different support and solutions for rice farmers operating in the Rice Seed Production Ecosystem of SeedWorks enabling closely 10000 + small holder farmers and 16000 Acres+ spread across 4 states for transforming to Climate smart farms.
